An Abundance of Katherines
An Abundance of Katherines
By John Green
I just recently finished An Abundance of Katherines by John Green. It was a pretty good book; I liked it more than the first book I read by John Green, Looking for Alaska.
An Abundance of Katherines is about a high schooler named Colin who has dated 19 girls named Katherine and had his heart ripped out by K-19. Colin is a child prodigy who tries to put his relationships into a mathematical equation.
After Colin is dumped by K-19 he and his friend, Hasaan, set out to travel the world. Well, maybe not the world, but they end up on an interesting adventure that leads them to the town of Gutshot, Tennessee.
Though I wouldn't recommend rushing to the local library to get your hands on this book, I'd say I would give it a good three-star rating. It's probably more suitable for the high school or college age reader!
